Most drivers know Chieveley as a name on an A34 services sign, which rather undersells a lovely downland village. We know it as a 22-mile run from our Faringdon base into RG20, taking in Curridge, Hermitage, Winterbourne, Peasemore and Beedon along the way. Party hire here works the same as everywhere we go: you book online, we deliver, set up and collect, and the village green stays tidy.

See details & book →Chieveley and its neighbours are classic village-hall-and-garden territory. Halls in these downland villages tend to be well kept and a decent size, happy to take a 12ft castle or a soft play corner, and gardens backing onto fields take a marquee without drama. The green at the heart of the village hosts the odd bigger do; for anything on shared ground, sort permission first and we will bring anchoring to suit.
A marketplace listing cannot tell you which lane into Winterbourne a long van should avoid. We can, because we have driven it. One van, one slot, kit checked by the owner, and no call centre between you and the person carrying the blower up your drive.
We also cover the villages around Chieveley, including Curridge, Hermitage, Winterbourne, Peasemore, Beedon, World's End.
Yes. Chieveley is about 22 miles from our base in Faringdon, well inside the 30-mile patch where every hire includes delivery, set up and collection at no extra cost.
Yes. Hermitage, Curridge, Winterbourne, Peasemore, Beedon and World's End are all part of the same RG20 run for us, about 22 miles from base. Delivery, set up and collection are included in the price you see, and the booking form confirms your postcode and date straight away.
Yes, marquees are easy for us. The LED Dance Floor and Magic Mirror need a firm level floor, the Light-Up Letters just need one socket, and the silent disco transmitters cover a marquee and garden together. Give us the marquee size in the booking notes and we will plan the layout with you.
