Giant connect four, chess and jenga ready to play on a courtyard

Giant Garden Games Hire

Ten giant games, one big lawn, zero bored guests.

Book from £119 per day · delivery, set up & collection included

Giant garden games are the quiet workhorse of a good party. Ten oversized classics, giant Jenga, Connect 4, croquet, skittles, quoits, limbo and more, spread across your lawn or hall and left ready to play. Nobody schedules them, nobody announces them, yet within ten minutes there is a Jenga crowd holding its breath and a croquet grudge match forming by the hedge. They give guests something to do with their hands and each other, which is most of what a party is.

Booking takes about two minutes online, no call centre, no phoning round for quotes. Pick your date, tell us about the venue and your crowd, and we confirm the details, including the exact mix of games. On the day we deliver the bundle, lay everything out ready to play where it works best, and give it all a final check. Afterwards we come back and collect the lot. You never lift a sack race set in anger.

We are based in Faringdon and cover a 30-mile patch of Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties, which takes in Oxford, Swindon, Witney, Wantage and a great many village greens in between. At a wedding the games fill the gap between ceremony and speeches. For schools and village committees they make an instant fete or fun day. At a christening or a big birthday they keep three generations entertained on one lawn. If your grass is within 30 miles of ours, we will bring the games.

Giant Games questions, answered

Which games are in the bundle?

The core ten are giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, croquet, skittles, quoits, limbo, tug of war, sack race set, boules and noughts and crosses. Want a different mix? Say so in the notes and we will swap to suit your crowd.

Do the games work for adults too?

They were practically designed for adults holding a drink. Giant Jenga at a wedding gets more competitive than the speeches. Everything is sized so grown-ups and kids can play together.

What if the grass is wet?

The sets are all-weather and most games play fine on damp grass. Skittles and Connect 4 can move into a hall or marquee if the heavens open.

What if I need to cancel or move the date?

Plans change, we know. Up to 7 days before your event you can swap the date or cancel free of charge, whichever suits, and because you pay nothing until the day, there is no refund to wait around for. And weather swaps are always free, whenever the forecast turns, because nobody should pay for British rain.

What happens if a game gets damaged at the party?

Normal party wear is expected and priced in. Jenga blocks get dropped, quoits land in hedges, that is what the games are for. We only charge for genuine negligence, and even then we always talk to you first rather than sending a surprise bill.
