There is a particular sound a garden makes when a bouncy castle lands in it, and it is the sound of a birthday going well. Kids parties do not need to be complicated, they need one big thing to bounce on, something sweet, and a grown-up who is not exhausted. FunFast delivers the kit, sets it up, anchors it properly and collects it afterwards, all within 30 miles of Faringdon. You book online in a few minutes and get on with the cake.

Two hours is the sweet spot for most kids parties, three at a push. Plan the running order loosely: wild play first while everyone has energy, food in the middle when they need a sit down, then one last burst before parents arrive. If you are hiring a village hall, check what time you can get in, because you will want at least 45 minutes before guests turn up, and we can time our set up to match.
Mixed ages are the usual puzzle. A castle sized for the under-12s, a soft play corner for toddlers and a couple of giant games for the older siblings covers everyone without anyone getting flattened. Outdoors, think about the ground: a flat stretch of grass beats a sloping lawn every time, and hard standing works too because we anchor with ballast instead of pegs. If the forecast turns, most village halls around Oxfordshire have the height for a 12ft castle.
Our typical castle is 12ft by 12ft and needs a 15ft by 15ft patch of grass or hard standing with 6ft of clearance above, so no washing lines or low branches. A standard socket within 30 metres covers the blower, and we bring the extension. If your garden is tight, tell us the measurements when you book and we confirm the right unit.
Light rain is fine, the castle has a shower cover and the games are all-weather. If heavy rain or high winds are forecast, we call you the day before and either move things indoors, swap your date free of charge, or refund you in full. You are never charged for weather nobody can beat.
Split the space rather than the guest list. The bouncy castle suits children up to 12, so the older ones live there, while a soft play corner gives crawlers and toddlers somewhere safe out of the stampede. An adult supervising each area keeps it calm, and food time is the great leveller. Everyone stops for sausage rolls.
